  • We ask you to be very careful with our boats, as well as with the boats you meet on the way.
  • On the water non-motor boats take priority over motorboats, except when the motorboats are ´professionals´ (in Leiden these are the canal tour boats).
  • You should stay on the right-hand side of the waterways.
  • Please travel slowly, especially close to bridges; sometimes it is very difficult to see if boats are coming from the opposite direction.
  • On summer days it can be very busy on the canals, especially in the City Center and close to the bridges: please be careful!

  • The management of Boatrental ´t Galgewater is not responsible for any damage or body injury caused during the boat trip or on our grounds.
  • In case you cause damage to our boats, we can charge you.
  • In case you cause damage to the property of third parties, you yourself are responsible for solving the problems caused.
